"I have to admit I was a bit of a skeptic going into my first HSM class almost 2 years ago. I have always worked out 5-6 days a week and thought at the time the only way to stay in shape was to do insane amounts of running, jumping and lifting big weights during my workouts. However, my back was starting to cause me a lot of pain due to a previous injury sustained in a car wreck which left my spine fused together. All of the running wasn't working for me anymore and after giving birth for the second time in 16 months, I had to find a better way. Lucky for me my good friend Julie had just gotten married and I noticed she was in unbelievable shape. I had never seen her look so good. I asked her for the secret and all she said was "go to Hilliard." I had tried other barre classes in Charlotte, so I felt strongly that this was going to be just that....just another barre class. All I can say is that within 10 minutes of class I was dying. I couldn't believe how challenging the workout was. From the moment the class began I knew I was hooked. I felt energized and inspired by Liz and Clary. I started off once a week, but kept finding my other workouts weren't giving me the results I wanted. Today, I attend 3-4 times a week and am in the best shape of my life. And beyond going to HSM for an amazing workout I have also met two incredible women who are truly dedicated to improving the bodies of all of their clients. Thank you HSM! "
